Salary Range
$120,000 to $160,000

A Brief Overview
Responsible for design, installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and automation in a 24x7 enterprise environment. Leads research, design and implementation for assigned projects. Analyze customer requirements to provide highly available, secure solutions to meet service level objectives. Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours work as required by system implementations, outages or upgrades.
What you will do
- Lead implementation projects involving existing and new technical solutions; responsibilities include planning, scheduling and coordinating the project.
- Maintain and set standards for documentation of Cloud, Server and Storage equipment on an on-going basis; include documentation updates as an integral part of every project.
- Lead the design of AWS systems and server infrastructure for new solutions following procedures listed in the Infrastructure Policies and Procedures manual as well as the Information Protection Policy.
- Troubleshoot AWS Cloud and on-prem storage/virtualization hardware and software problems; coordinate resolution with internal technical resources and vendors.
- Lead design of data protection and disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing in a hybrid multi-site environment.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and developing technologies, especially around cloud, recommend evaluation of technologies that would benefit the IT infrastructure .
- Communicate with management on the status of projects and problem resolution efforts; initiate request to escalate problems if needed.
- Monitor and analyze the capacity and performance of cloud and on-prem systems and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Provide training and mentoring on new technologies to other Technology personnel; outline how each team will be affected related to on-going support of the system.
- Research and implement automated processes to improve operational efficiency. Lead vendor efforts in support of system implementations and project deadlines .
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy.
Minimum Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 7 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional Certificate
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, AWS Lambda, Python, and Terraform.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and multiple tasks while meeting agreed upon objectives
