This role is a part of the Audio Visual and Digital Signage team within the IT Collaboration Services group. In this role, you will design and configure advanced AV systems—including displays, microphones, DSPs, control systems, and video conferencing platforms—to support collaborative workspaces and events. You’ll provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot issues in real time, and work closely with IT, Facilities, and vendors to deliver seamless AV experiences.

 

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement AV solutions including displays, microphones, Digital Signal Processors, control systems, and video conferencing platforms to support collaborative workspaces and events.
  • Provide hands-on support for AV hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation during live events.  Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Work closely with IT, Facilities, and external vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute AV installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of AV systems, configurations, and inventory. Proactively monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Deliver high-touch AV support for executive meetings and corporate events, including setup, operation, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Ensure AV systems adhere to organizational security policies and compliance standards, including access controls and data protection.
  • Educate end-users and support staff on AV system functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to promote self-sufficiency and reduce support requests.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience
  • 3 years of Audio Visual engineering or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Strong understanding of signal flow, AV control systems, and room automation.

  • Industry certifications
    • AVIXA CTS
    • Crestron Programming 101/201
    • BIAMP Tesira/Vocia, and Microsoft Teams Room
