Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer. 

 The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site. 

"Guard Shack, CCTV, Access control , complete trucks logs as trained, Desk posts monitor employee traffic Guard Shack responsibilities such as logging and directing trailers, ensuring correct load destinations, managing yard database. + Assist in ensuring yard security. + Monitor CCTV, Burglar and Access. Directs visitors and truck drivers to various parts of grounds or buildings. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as theft, equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences. Answer telephone calls and maintain log books.Guard the entrance the facility and grounds, warehouse, or other property to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds. Inspect inbound and outbound trailers and seals to prevent unauthorized removal of product or. Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.No Cell phones Permitted on siteWell Dressed/GroomedAttendance is a must.on site /online training required Incident Report Writing / Daily Activity logs of the days events VERY ACTIVE POSITION "

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• *Required to cover for special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts (No Set Schedule)*

• *Access Control/Badge Experience
• *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

• *Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK*

• *Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet*

• *Display exceptional customer service and communication skills*

• *Must be able to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time*

• *Must be able to work outdoors in the elements* 

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.                                                                                                                                          

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

• Able to: Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
