About the role

The Resource Management Manager (RM) is responsible for assigning the right resource to the right client at the right time, while balancing and optimizing employee growth, client results and business metrics. The RM will anticipate needs and work with leadership to ensure open needs are filled and the bench is minimized in order to maximize utilization. They  will have deep knowledge of the skills of the resources in their area as well as the skills required by projects in their area. They must anticipate project conflicts and identify alternatives to independently resolve conflicts and be proactive and opportunistic in managing the bench. They will build strong relationships with the leadership team and become a trusted advisor. They will prepare and analyze data for their area in order to surface issues/trends and maintain a constant pulse on current/future shortages or surpluses.
The Resource Management Manager will also have proven experience leading and driving offshore integration efforts. They will also have experience building, developing and managing offshore team members.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of resource management experience at a professional services firm specifically within an offshore or global context
  • 7+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting or advisory services Mastery of Microsoft Office Products, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in PowerBI is ideal
  • Strong executive presence and outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead and develop staff members, with prior experience coaching and managing global team members from different backgrounds, cultures, time zones, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction, while practicing a high-level of confidentiality
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in ever-changing, dynamic environments
  • Ability to independently craft and deliver verbal, written, and oral messages and make recommendations to a variety of audiences, including client leadership and internal teams
  • Desire to get involved in the Riveron culture and internal initiatives, including community service, training, interviewing, intramurals and other social/networking activities  

What You’ll Do:

  • Actively manage staffing for a dedicated practice by providing teams with qualified candidates for open project needs, prioritizing needs and allocating resources in alignment with business, client, and talent strategy; acting as a value-add business partner.
  • Utilize information from one-on-one connects and information housed in our deployment tools to assess best-fit practitioners taking into consideration practitioner’s skills, professional goals, and/or staffing preferences. 
  • Advise Service Delivery teams on creative and alternate staffing solutions that may provide improved quality, timeliness, or margin. 
  • Promote, lead and scale offshore integration efforts with Service Delivery teams.
  • Maintain understanding of full portfolio of engagements and sales pipeline for the designated business area by analyzing deployment data, leveraging business relationships, and gathering key information from the Service Delivery teams. 
  • Identify future demand surges and supply shortages by level, skill, and/or industry, and partner with Talent Acquisition Managers and Segment leads to develop recommendations for mitigating any misalignment of supply and demand. 
  • Support deployment needs for large, cross-practice engagements, with a focus on driving a streamlined business experience following and educating upon our Rules of Engagement while bringing a collaborative mindset.
  • Maintain a high-level of proficiency in all deployment tools and reporting capabilities.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset to advance the RM function.
  • Independently lead weekly staffing calls with leaders displaying strong executive presence – bring data insights and trends to the group on actual and forecasted data, skill sets of available resources and the status of open needs.
  • Mentor and manage offshore Resource Management team members.
  • Minimal travel (less than 10%).
