Raytheon is seeking successful candidate for a Demand Controller Support role within the Advanced Product Center area in McKinney, TX. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location
What You Will Do
- Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
- Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Working daily to confirm material supply and demands.
- Preparing work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
- Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
- Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
- Conducting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system.
- Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
- Performing movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.
- This will be an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.
- Experience of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- 1+ years of SAP / PRISM experience
- Material planning and order execution experience.
- Experience with government contracting requirements
- Experience with MS Office 360 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook/Teams)
