About the role

Job Summary:  

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will collaborate with leadership teams of one or more business unit(s)/department(s) and execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness. An understanding of business priorities and the ability to translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business as it grows rapidly is required. The HRBP serves as a liaison between the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, workforce analysis, career development and leadership development. The HRBP effectively diagnoses problems as well as identifies and drives appropriate solutions. This role will report to the CHRO. 

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Defines the people strategies for the departments/geographies they are supporting including how we are performing against those people strategies. 

  • Is a trusted advisor by ELT and their direct reports for any strategic people related topic/issue. 

  • Collaborates with all levels of management in the implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes relating to human resources, organizational and employee development. 

  • Identifies, analyzes, and prioritizes root causes of employee issues, proposes resolutions, and drives improvement in employee engagement, empowerment, and enablement. 

  • Advises business leaders on solutions that enhance talent effectiveness and productivity through organizational design/development, talent acquisition, cultural and process-oriented initiatives. 

  • Supports company-wide programs and strategic initiatives, liaising with business leaders and HR leaders on the change management underway to modernize and scale our platform. 

  • Participates in talent management and succession planning programs within assigned business unit/department. 

  • Plays a key role in the global HR team spending time supporting or owning large and often complex global HR projects.  

  • Demonstrates senior consultancy expertise of the business. 

  • Acts as a thought leader on people-related strategy and roadmap. 

  • Proposes and successfully implements 1 or more high impact people-related programs annually. 

  • Sets the strategy and executes organizational re-structuring and succession planning. 

  • Establishes the strategy for people-related projects on behalf of the Executive Leadership team to their direct reports.  

  • Executes key initiatives as a strategic owner related to CWAN, HR, and ELT’s goals and oversees the day-to-day execution, e.g., diversity hiring.  

  • Engages in the industry and has demonstrated expertise in leading HR practices/vendors to drive the best outcomes.

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related degree  

  • SHRM or PHR Certification preferred 

  • 12+ years in as an in-house HRBP or Consultant
