Responsibilities:
- Manage a pipeline of assigned projects:
- Work with the Design Manager to prioritize appropriately
- Recommend / choose the right style, graphics, images, and other visual elements according to the objectives of the project
- Ensure that quality work is being completed and delivered on time
- Ensure that the final product adheres to brand / creative guidelines and standards of the company, properties, etc.
- Track project status and provide updates via centralized process instituted by the Design Manager
- Develop graphics for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to: stadium signage, logos, digital ads, invitations, presentation templates, brochures, print ads, mock-ups, motion graphics, digital banners, landing pages, etc.
- Develop design concepts and solutions based on client direction (e.g., seller, PR, etc.), a creative brief, and personal brand research
- Think creatively to develop fresh concepts and bring them to life through exquisite design that supports project objectives
- Manage revisions to the work as needed
- Possess people skills to effectively and persuasively engage with internal colleagues, the sales teams and senior level management
- Prepare final files for mechanicals based on production/printer/publication specifications as needed
- Display a positive, team-building work attitude
- Participate in ongoing team training, and keep up-to-date with industry developments
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or equivalent work experience
- 1 year of design experience in multiple media formats, preferred
- Strong creative portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, skill, style and experience
- Adobe Suite expertise — InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and Premiere Pro and a working knowledge of the web is a plus
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Excellent design, communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and deal with unforeseen situations
- Strong skillset for crafting clear and visually compelling presentations
- Experience developing and designing brand campaigns a plus
