Join us on our journey to make top-quality service convenient and accessible worldwide.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR CHALLENGE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Accounting processes and reporting in preparation of IPO</li> <li>Makes sure that monthly reports and annual financial statements of Blacklane companies are in accordance with local &amp; international GAAP </li> <li>Sets up / improves processes in place for recording, verifying, and reporting the Accounting figures</li> <li>Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles</li> <li>Drive efficiency through digitizing and simplifying operations and processes</li> <li>Support annual audits with the external auditor</li> <li>Lead ad-hoc projects &amp; initiatives cross-functionally</li> <li>Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold a master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Extensive professional experience in Accounting, preferably in Tech or fast-growing companies.Strong knowledge of German (HGB) and international (IFRS) Accounting standards.Good knowledge of German payroll regulations and processes, including tax, social security, and statutory reporting requirements</li> <li>Proficiency in VAT regulations and compliance, including the preparation and submission of VAT returns, to ensure accurate tax reporting and adherence to legal requirements.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, able to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Expertise in Accounting systems (Datev, Workday, Adaptive, Sage) and advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.Good knowledge of German payroll regulations and processes, including tax, social security, and statutory reporting requirements</li> <li>Proficiency in VAT regulations and compliance, including the preparation and submission of VAT returns, to ensure accurate tax reporting and adherence to legal requirements.</li> <li>Fluent in German and English, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>MORE THAN A JOB:</strong></p> <p>Our mission is simple but powerful: to become the world’s leading premium, global chauffeur service.
