About the Role
The Procurement Contracts Lead will report into our General Counsel, and will be a key role bridging our growing production, business affairs and legal teams to provide expertise on creative purchasing, including maximization of vendor partnerships and mitigation of potential third-party risk.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with legal and contracting team to review, revise and draft creative contract documents, which include production agreements, releases, talent contracts and licensing
• Work with legal and contracting team to update/improve existing templates and processes 
• Provide timely advice to business affairs teams on contract-related communications
• Provide support to the business affairs team on licensing-related matters
• Communicate directly with client, talent and other stakeholder as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Industry knowledge of pricing, payment terms, standard production terms and production risks/insurance knowledge
• MSA experience for production teams
• Out of Pocket procurement experience, in-house production team and/or advertising agency and/or talent experience
• Working with and managing social media influencers and related contracts 
• Working with licensing agreements and good knowledge of licensing terms
• Talent union negotiation general negotiation and drafting client-facing experience
• Pharma experience preferred, but not required

This role can be based out of our Toronto office in Canada, NYC/Philly in the US.
