DCS Technician
Join Euroapi as a DCS Technician in engineering team. You will make a key contribution to DCS Team in Technical Services Department reporting to Engineering Manager.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
- Implement the software following User Requirements/Functional specifications required by the customer (production)
- Know of PID settings and state-of-the-art machine operation required
- Troubleshoot automatic batch on ABB 800xa and Simphony Composer
- Implement/maintain of Profibus and Modbus networks
- Maintain of network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot on esxi servers
- Perform backup and restore procedures
- Validate GMP of automation systems
- Validate GMP of automation software
This is an unlimited term contract, and we are looking for someone to join as soon as possible.

The EUROAPI Italy facility is a vast production site with over 240 workers located in the industrial area of Brindisi with a history dating back to 1966. EUROAPI Italy is specialized in the development and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), including antibiotics, corticosteroids, and other intermediates by large scale fermentation under GMP conditions. The Brindisi site produces approximately 200 tons of different molecules per year and hosts a R&D biotechnological center. It is approved by the main health authorities and owns environment and workplace safety certifications.
Our Requirements
Master’s degree in Automation Engineering or similar
Previous experience in same field
Good relationship skills and proactive approach
Active listening skills
Team working and problem-solving attitude
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
