The Role
Veeva works with Consumer Products industry leaders to bring trusted products to market faster. Our industry-specific cloud applications, built on our Vault platform, address the unique operating challenges and regulatory requirements of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Food & Beverage manufacturers and suppliers. Across product quality, regulatory, compliance, and safety – and throughout the product lifecycle – Veeva’s unified cloud platform and software solutions help build consumer trust through collaboration, achieve a single source of truth, and gain unparalleled agility. The Vice President of Product Management, Consumer Products leads the product strategy and direction of the Veeva Consumer Products portfolio of applications and manages multiple teams of product managers.

What You’ll Do

• Define rolling four and twelve-month road maps that incorporate executive priorities, the needs of Vault applications, and customer feedback
• Collaborate with other Veeva executives, product managers, and engineering architects on high-level designs for each key feature
• Coach a team of product managers on the ongoing production and refinement of requirements documents and other deliverables
• Identify cross-team dependencies and facilitate necessary resource tradeoffs to maximize the value of each release
• Ensure the successful resolution of product issues identified by field organizations
• Articulate the benefits of new features and the future direction of the platform and solutions to customers and partners
• Evangelize products and become the subject matter expert for internal audiences, external customers, and market-facing communications
• Be a role model for the company culture

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and formal presentation
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven track record as a product leader in enterprise software
• 7 years+ of experience within the product management function
• 5 years+ of experience with enterprise software
• 5 years+ managing a team of direct reports
• Enterprise SaaS solutions
• Strong technical skills to translate business requirements into developer specifications

Nice to Have

• Some prior experience implementing software in a professional services capacity
• Technical degree or hands-on development experience
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Food & Beverage industries
