Position Summary

This position provides transactional and administrative support to the departments and programs in assigned department.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Initiates/reviews purchasing transactions.

  • Processes travel advances; reviews supporting documentation and submits travel expense reports on a timely basis.

  • Reviews and processes Procard transactions for approval.

  • Processes internal and external invoices.

  • Provides entry and reconciliation support for annual budget process. Monitors account balances, maintains open encumbrances, processes journals and budget adjustments.

  • Works with HR/payroll coordinator to ensure accurate entry and maintenance of HR data for faculty, students, postdocs and staff.

  • Prepares financial, budget and general reports, as requested.

  • Provides general office support.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
