In our Group Project Management Office, we are a great mix of project managers, programme managers, project specialists, project assistants, and change managers. We also have a project support office that will guide and assist you with our strong governance and large toolbox.

You will be a part of the Group PMO community, which is truly international with 20+ nationalities, and we take pride in having a diverse workforce.

Drive large-scale complex programmes 

Based in our office in Lisbon, Portugal, you will be a valued and trusted partner to the business and top management. You will bring the element of innovation to business needs and assist in bringing strategic ideas into realisation. 

Typically, you will manage 1-2 of our largest corporate programmes and projects at a time, joining them at the earliest stages. This means that you will manage strategically based projects, exploring the opportunities and benefits of each idea, setting the framework for development, and implementing the final solution. 

With the overall responsibility for day-to-day project management, you will be working according to our PMO Methodology based on PRINCE2 – but also incorporating an increasingly agile approach. This means that you will be: 

• Creating an implementation project for each initiative 
• Driving change management in the organisation 
• Anchoring the results in each area involved 
• Planning and following up on assigned projects according to the defined methodology, including time scheduling, cost plans, resource management, quality assurance etc.
• Facilitating decision-making in the projects to ensure delivery of milestones and objectives
• Reporting to the project stakeholders according to defined structures, project team, board, executive and other relevant stakeholders 

 

“You’ll collaborate with top management, business stakeholders, IT staff, architects, and supporters across the organisation, creating solid structures across cultures and time zones,” explains Danna. 

 

Experienced senior project manager with strong communication skills 

As a person, you know how to communicate in order to achieve the defined business objectives through your various project participants and stakeholders. You can stand your ground when others challenge you, and you know how to navigate at both top management and employee level. Finally, we imagine you: 

• Have 5+ years of continuous project or programme management experience with large corporate projects – preferably from a global PMO – and at a senior level 
• Have innovative change management skills as well as great facilitation capabilities 
• Hold a Prince2 Foundation certification 
• Are fluent in English, which is the DSV corporate language
