Job Purpose
To provide timely and accurate complex capital project schedules as well as proactive project cost and schedule analysis. To ensure monthly project forecasts are completed and presented at the pre-financial readout meetings and ZVM/PCM process.
Key Accountabilities
1. Act as the single point of accountability for control of projects within Complex Capital Delivery, establishing consistent performance management/KPIs and accountable for the collation of project management information and generating relevant reports.
2. Ensure the, capability, systems, policies and procedures are in place to bring project, planning and cost controls together, ensuring consistency, accessibility and clarity of the financial performance
3. Translate the portfolio of works from the Asset Managers into a deliverable rolling program of projects for Complex Capital Delivery working with Resource Planning.
4. Identify technical innovation in order to drive change, improve reliability, manage risk on projects that deliver customer satisfaction at optimum cost.
5. Create a detailed work plan and forecast file which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, integrating cost and project schedule to deliver the best project outcomes. Incorporate risk probabilities into the impact on the schedule and forecast and develop corrective action plans.
6. Drive enhancements in Project Controls to continually support and improve the Complex Capital Construction process.
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams involved in large-scale complex projects including Project Controls, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Utility Construction and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is required in Engineering; Masters Degree Preferred (and/or significant relevant Experience)
- Experience with the identification and execution of process and continuous improvement projects as well as managing department performance (KPI's, Scorecards, etc.)
- Strong computer skills and system integration experience including Primavera P6.

Salary
$153,000 - $180,000 a year
