Job description:

As a Sr. z/OS Automation Engineer you will be responsible for Data Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System. Performs research, design, implementation and support tasks as a member of Capgemini team. Works in accordance with project guidelines, quality standards and code conventions.

Responsibilities:

           Perform ZOS Automation and data migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation / Netview.

           Assist in backporting critical CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) to maintain software security

           Review and address published vulnerabilities, ensuring the software remains secure and resilient

           Initiates and conducts code reviews, creates code standards, conventions and guidelines.

 Required Skills:

           5-8 years of experience as a z/OS Senior Automation Engineer.

           Rexx, OPS/Rexx and Pipe automation tools

           Data Migration experience from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS

           Software System Automation experience in a z/OS Mainframe environment

           Strong communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills

           Consulting firm experience is a plus
