Job Description

Purpose

This role will be responsible for evaluating immunogenic risk potential in vitro of candidate therapeutic large molecules and develop novel in vitro immunosafety assays to support development of preclinical molecules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of in vitro immunogenicity and immunosafety platform for risk assessment.
  • Implement expansion of immunogenicity platform through MHC-II associated peptide proteomics (MAPPs) and real-time DC internalization assay development for large molecules using human DC/PBMC models.
  • Represent IVIS team on project meetings, designing & coordinating IVIS studies of biologic drug candidates.
  • Author publication, presentations, and/or regulatory documents.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and typically 12 years of experience OR Master’s Degree and typically 10 years of experience OR PhD and typically 4 years of experience.
  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Cellular Immunology, preferred
  • Understanding of cellular immunology with an emphasis on dendritic and T cell biology.
  • Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panel design, BD LSRFortessa instrument operation, BD FACSDive and FlowJo software, and flow cytometry data analysis.
  • Proven track record with assay development experience successfully handling human samples, isolating cell subsets, maturing antigen presenting cells, and executing proliferation assays.
  • Experience with in-silico immunogenicity assessment platforms a plus.
