Overview
Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a full time Information Technology Business Analyst (BA) to join its Information Technology team.
The Information Technology Business Analyst (BA) will collaborate with and support the linkage between the PHS IT resources and the functional business owner(s) that utilize those resources. The BA is to be the technical expert on the software solutions used by the functions they support. They will help the functional owner(s) to select, implement, manage, and optimize their projects, their use of IT applications and overall vendor relationship management.
This is a full-time, hybrid position (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
REPORTING STRUCTUREThe Information Technology BA reports to the IT Director of Applications.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.• Provides business and data analysis for various applications requiring customer input using meeting facilitation to determine needs and develop solutions; concurrently manage multiple project tasks of differing scope across functional areas.• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT teams.
2. Process Improvement
• Collaborate to identify and implement business process improvements, and improved ways to utilize existing business applications and other technology tools including identifying areas for robotic process automation (RPA).• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.• Work with cross-functional teams to design optimized workflows and implement solutions.• Contributes to continual improvement in current methods related to the acquisition and deployment, and project management of technology solutions.• Assists with identifying functional requirements in business processes and the business applications used to support those processes.
3. Project Management Support
• Manages aspects of various-sized projects, coordinating and integrating project resources and the requisite logistical support for project tasks and sub-tasks. Determines and monitors the scheduling of IT and functional resources to ensure successful support of project engagements and consistent performance to meet all project objectives.• Defines and maintains scope of projects, and project plans including milestones and dependencies. Defines inter-project dependencies and interfaces between applications and systems.• Define and assist in training and application rollout processes; collaborates with internal and external resources in the creation, testing and delivering of applications to support business requirements.• Act as a liaison between IT teams and business units during project planning and execution.• Creates and/or assists functional users with technology acquisition planning, software selection, business applications implementation, and ongoing support.• Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon quality and timeline standards.• Provides timely and accurate status reporting on all projects.
4. System Implementation & Testing
• Collaborate with vendors and internal staff to implement and manage application integrations.• Support the implementation of IT systems, including configuration and user acceptance testing.• Develop test cases, coordinate testing efforts, and document outcomes to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration or equivalent/relevant experience in Information Technology Business Analysis required
- 3+ years of business analysis experience
- Experience in the Post-Acute Care and HCBS industry is preferred
- Application software requirements and selection experience
- Business process analysis and design experience
- Prior experience and ability to organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks with various scopes simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal skill; strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $79,997 - $99,986 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.Benefits
