Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
What You Will Do:
The Global Patriot Program is looking for a Deployment Fielding & Sustainment (DFS) Integrated Product Team(IPT) Lead to plan and execute sustainment strategy of the fielded system, including on-site support staff, transportation of sustainment resources, field maintenance support, material procurement, return & repair, technical assistance.
As an IPT Lead you’ll work closely with the Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Global Mobility, EXIM, IPT Leadership and Program Management teams to apply disciplined program management processes and utilize tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends to ensure excellence in execution.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Drive performance to cost and schedule targets
Maintain open and frequent communication with other program leads
Generate/Lead proposal inputs on all relevant scope
Resolve cost, scope, and schedule issues
Establish and drive roadmaps for sustainment activities
Balance alignment between program and product roadmap objectives
Support the Risk & Opportunity process
Regularly interact with the USG customer and Country Unique Customer
Ability to travel internationally as needed
Developing and delivering advanced, system-specific training.
Domestic and International Travel may be required
This position is based designated as ONSITE and can be based at the Raytheon Tewksbury, MA or Andover MA locations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 8 years of relevant Engineering, Program or Project management experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position.
