Shift Availability for Infection Prevention/Staff Development:

• Full-Time, Salary
• Mon-Fri Days
• Some schedule flexibility required due to needs of the facility
• On-call rotation responsibilities

Responsibilities of Infection Prevention/Staff Development:

Education

• Infection Prevention Certification
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff. Must have the ability to read and write the English language.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess a license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing.

Experience

• · Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year’s of experience in a nursing care facility.
• · Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
• · Must possess skills in leadership and communication.
• · Must possess creativity, integrity, and initiative.

Requirements

Qualifications of Infection Prevention/Staff Development :

• Current RN license in good standing; required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
• 5 or more years of recent nursing or clinical experience (including management level roles)
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
• CPR certification
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and organization skills
