Are you an individual who likes variety in your daily job activities? Do you value teamwork and enjoy helping others? As an Accounting Assistant at Houston Engineering (HEI), you will work closely with team members company-wide to support projects through invoicing, accounts receivable, and more.
Job Description
- Work closely with Project Managers to prepare client invoices
- Assist Project Managers with project reports and data to monitor project costs
- Support Project Managers with monitoring A/R and collection efforts
- Assist with processing company credit card transactions
- Support for processing vendor payments
- Support accounting team with other special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Able to plan and prioritize work efficiently
- Able to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
