Job Description

The Plant Maintenance Manager will assist the Plant Engineer in leading and directing salary and hourly personnel in all phases of the plant engineering function.

The Plant Maintenance Manager will:

• Assist in directing preventative maintenance programs
• Oversee the quality of work performed by maintenance and production 
• Provide a high level of technical service to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality.
• Have direct involvement with the maintenance apprenticeship program

The Plant Maintenance Manager should have:

• Great teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Able to effectively deliver training
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Skilled Trades Background Preferred
• Additional training (military, apprenticeship) or BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) is preferred
• Extensive experience in a maintenance leadership position in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and energize team members
• Leadership experience in a Union environment highly preferred

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $105,00 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.    Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
