General Summary: 

The IoT Technical Lead and Project Manager will be responsible for leading the technical development and execution of IoT projects within the organization. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful implementation and operation of IoT solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IoT technologies and strong leadership capabilities.

Job Summary:

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the design and architecture of IoT solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the IoT development team.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in IoT development and deployment.
• Project Management:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the execution of IoT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as needed.
• Solution Development:
  • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of IoT applications and platforms.
  • Ensure seamless integration of IoT systems with existing IT infrastructure and business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of IoT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and other third parties.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of IoT solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IoT technology.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities for IoT applications and improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Data Management and Security:
  • Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of data from IoT devices.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Utilize IoT data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Understanding of computer hardware (SSD, RAM, Processor, etc.)
• Knowledge and understanding of IT systems, and how they interconnect.
• Familiarity with mobile devices: iPhone and iOS
• Basic Working knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN Networking
• Adhere to all safety policies & guidelines
• Willingness to take on special projects as directed by management.

Education: Associates Degree in IT or related area, applicable certificates, or equivalent IT experience.

Experience: Minimum of 10 year of experience, Certifications relevant to the position will receive higher consideration.

Working Conditions

Physical Demands:

• Team members may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-and dust.
• Team Member may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

• Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
• Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing over 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided devices as required by job duties.
