What Is Your Role?

As a hands-on IT Manager, you are responsible for the smooth operation and availability of all IT systems and applications used within the organization. You coordinate daily IT operations, act as the go-to person for internal users, and ensure that IT services run effectively and securely. You will be a central figure in managing suppliers, resolving incidents, and ensuring the IT environment supports the productivity of all colleagues.

In addition to your operational role, you also help translate business needs into practical IT solutions and contribute to improvements in the IT landscape. You will play a strategic role in leveraging IT to enhance automation and improve productivity throughout the organization.

You will report to the CFO and work closely with IT partners and other business stakeholders. This role is practical, people-oriented, and essential to day-to-day business continuity.

How you add value

You will be part of the global IT Team which consists of IT Operations, IT Business Applications and Team Integration (Microsoft stacks, applications) and work closely together with our cyber security team.
Priva has grown considerably recently. The reason for the IT manager vacancy is the organization's need to take the next step in growth. We are looking for someone who is able to develop a long-term vision and strategy. The focus is on continuous optimizing the available tools so that they are seen by the Business as "power tools’, new developments and integrations. In addition, managing the team (team leads and technical specialists) is important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of around 15 IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability;

• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and help translate them into practical IT solutions within the existing application landscape.

• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, including system upgrades, business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.

• Coordinate and oversee daily IT operations, including service requests, incidents, and minor changes.

• Ensure continuous availability and performance of IT systems, applications, and workplace environments.

• Act as the central point of contact for IT vendors and service providers, ensuring clear communication and performance follow-up.

• Provide second-line support and assist with troubleshooting where needed.

• Ensure secure and structured identity and access management, including managing user accounts, roles, and permissions across systems and applications.

• Monitor and follow up on IT performance, backups, and patching activities, together with partners.

• Support colleagues with IT-related questions in a clear and user-friendly manner.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT processes and provide operational reporting as needed.
