Job Summary
As the Director, Marketing & Communications, you play a pivotal role in managing and building the company’s brand and reputation. This position is responsible for advancing the company’s priorities through a variety of channels, including public and media relations, marketing and advertising, promotional partnerships, and internal and executive communication. As the Director, you will lead comprehensive marketing efforts, focusing on brand content development in collaboration with senior leadership. This role will lead a team of Marketing & Communications professionals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, providing high-level oversight and support for campaigns and related activities to ensure that strategic communications plans, initiatives, positioning, and messaging are effectively developed. Our ideal candidate possesses strong planning, financial, and analytical skills and a collaborative, customer service-oriented approach with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for the company’s marketing and communication efforts
- Lead public and media relations, marketing, advertising and promotional partnerships
- Oversee the strategic development and execution of employee communications
- Manage complex customer meetings and events including site visits, launches, conferences, product demonstrations, site tours, and sponsored functions for U.S. Department of Defense and international customers, Boeing and industry partner executives, elected officials, community groups, local government representatives, suppliers, etc
- Develop and oversee comprehensive strategic marketing and communications initiatives and brand content development
- Manage a team of professionals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the company is effectively represented
- Travel occasionally domestically and internationally
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or another relevant field
- 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or media, with a proven track record of progressive management responsibility
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of all aspects of communications, including strategic planning for various media venues
- Experience using computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing, and design
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Current and active U.S. Security Clearance and/or the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
- 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior leadership, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- Experience leading/collaborating across geographically dispersed teams
- Previous experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and editing skills with accurate AP Style application
- Strong planning, financial, analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to think both creatively and strategically
Summary Pay-Range
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Level L: $177,650 - $261,250
