We are hiring CCTV Security Operator's to provide Security for an Industrial Manufacturing Plant located in: Owensboro, KY $18.75 to $19.75 per hour Open & Closing Dates: 11/01/2025 to 12/15/2025

Duties
- (Surveillance Monitoring)
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other security technology (e.g., alarms, access control systems).
- Observe multiple camera feeds in real time to detect suspicious, criminal, or unsafe activities.
- Maintain continuous attention to detail and situational awareness.
- (Incident Detection and Response)
- Identify potential security threats or breaches (e.g., trespassing, theft, vandalism).
- Immediately report incidents to security officers, supervisors, or law enforcement.
- Use communication systems (radio, phone, or intercom) to direct on-site security personnel to specific locations.
- (Recording and Evidence Management)
- Record and preserve video evidence for investigations.
- Ensure that footage is properly stored, backed up, and secured to maintain chain of custody.
- Retrieve and provide video footage upon authorized request.
- (Incident Reporting)
- Document daily activities, observations, and any incidents in written or digital logs.
- Prepare detailed reports of suspicious activities, alarms, or technical malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records for internal and external review.
- (System Maintenance and Troubleshooting)
- Check that all cameras and recording equipment are functioning correctly.
- Report any malfunctions, blind spots, or technical issues to the maintenance or IT department.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure clear camera views and proper system performance.
- (Collaboration and Communication)
- Work closely with on-site security teams, supervisors, and emergency services.
- Relay important information quickly and accurately during emergencies.
- Support investigations by providing real-time updates and relevant footage.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirments
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional CCTV Security Operator experience
- 5 + years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military (preferred)
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Unarmed positions - no firearm license required
- Excellent communication, situational awareness, and reliability
- Must pass a background check and Citadel Security USA onboarding
- Professional appearance (tan pants, black boots, Citadel uniform shirt provided)
- Must be able and or willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
