We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Server Administrator to join our client’s team. The role will focus on virtual machine management, requiring expertise in Linux and familiarity with Proxmox. Strong attention to detail, excellent written communication, and a proactive approach are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain virtual machines across VMWare, Hyper V, and Proxmox platform.
Manage Active Directory services and oversee server monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
Administer Linux servers, including handling patches, updates, and automation tasks (Ansible experience is a plus)
Maintain database systems, with a focus on Microsoft SQL and MariaDB
Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veem, Proxmox Backup Server, and Comet
Communicate with vendors and write technical documentation or blog content as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

Rate: $8/hour
