Digital Asset Management Intern

As a Digital Asset Management (DAM) summer intern for Sartorius’ Lab Product and Services (LPS) division, you will be tasked with digital asset (documents and images) and data cleanup as part of a project to improve our assets for use across multiple systems (the Sartorius web site, eShop, and sales enablement platforms). Your work will support the Marketing and Sales teams in better reaching customers, increasing our online presence, and driving revenue through lead generation and eShop purchases. 

As a summer intern for our Digital Marketing team, you will get hands-on experience with our enterprise DAM platform, the opportunity to work at a global leader in life science research solutions, and a real-life understanding of how DAM functions as the lifeblood of the Marketing Technology stack. The project is scheduled to last eight weeks, with an expected start date in the summer of 2025. 

What will you accomplish together with us: 

• Create reports to evaluate assets and update metadata in Excel, improving assets for SEO by updating file names, document titles, and image alt text.
• Perform duplicate and old branding flagging and consolidation support. In addition to enhancing SEO, this project will help streamline internal Marketing operations by improving search speed in DAM through the archiving of obsolete assets and metadata migration. 
• Maximize the business value of our digital assets through SEO improvements  
• Create reports to support our data-driven approach to decision-making 
• Optimize existing assets to gain the full potential of their searchability and promotion online across multiple platforms through keyword cleanup in DAM 
• Bringing new ideas to the process, identifying asset issues, and documenting workflows 

What will convince us: 

• Enrollment in a college or university 
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel) and/or the desire and ability to learn new programs quickly 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while striving to find better workflows, solutions, and means to reach your objectives 
• Analytical mindset, curiosity about how Digital Marketing systems operate, and extremely strong attention to detail with a passion for excellence in all areas of work 
• Organized and capable of handling large projects while meeting established deadlines
