Job Description

Your Career

As a Product Manager focused on automation, integrations, API and API infrastructure, your primary responsibility is to conceptualize, gather feedback from customers and partners, and guide building features that provide the best developer and integration experience for customers and partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, technical partnerships, professional services, marketing, sales, and customer support to drive the product roadmap and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that solve customer problems and meet market demands.

Your Impact

• Understand customer problems and use cases intimately
• Collaborate with engineering and other product team members to deliver high-quality products that solve customer problems with a differentiated, automated and optimized approach
• Own the vision, roadmap and requirements for your features
• Engage with the product marketing team and help them develop compelling messaging, impactful sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams
• Interact with customers, partners and sales engineering teams in different forums to gather feedback and evangelize the product
• Collaborate with technical marketing, sales engineering, integrations teams, professional services and technical support teams to train the field teams, gather feedback during betas and help with escalations

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent military experience required
• Proven experience (4+ years) in product management roles, with a focus on networking, Cloud Management of networking devices or related technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, with expertise in cloud security and firewall solutions
• Must have product management in: APIs (JSON/REST), Terraform (ecosystem and functionality) and Ansible, developer tools, SDK definition, WebHooks and streaming APIs
• Experience in defining and managing products related to APIs (Cloud based), API infrastructure, security of APIs, developer portals, terraform provider
• Have created or help create a world-class developer portal and integration market place
• Ability to work with 3rd party partners, integrators including providing foundational code, code samples etc.
• Have a defined vision around “API first” approach to development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Ideally has hands-on experience in managing devices from onboarding to decommissioning and ongoing device operations
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and strategies
