Job Description:

Your Mission  

We are looking for talented students to join our team between September and March. All Co-Op participants will working alongside professional developers doing similar work on the game titles. We’ll provide the tools and resources you need to learn new skills/technology while you collaborate with some of the best in the gaming industry. The challenging and creative work you do throughout your Co-Op will directly impact the team you are contributing to.  

 

All Co-Ops will be conducted in person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often Co-Op participants work in the office Monday-Friday. All Co-Op participants will have the option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement). Additionally, all Co-Op participants will be provided with a living stipend to supplement housing, utility, and commuting.   

 

Location and commitments:  

• Co-Op location: Portland, ME  

• Available to participate in a 6-month Co-Op starting in late-September 2025, running until late-March 2026 

  

What You Bring To The Table  

Engineering Co-Op:  

Work on console, PC, and mobile titles to solve problems within rendering architecture, systems programming, GPU microcode, procedural geometry, ray-tracing, and performance analysis and optimization.    

 

  

Player Profile    

Minimum Requirements:  

Experience   

• 1+ year of working experience with C++ 

 

Knowledge and Skills Player Profile    

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.  

• Experience with at least one game-related domain (graphics, networking, embedded systems)   

• Multi-threading, optimization (rendering and systems), and computer architecture are a plus   

• Practical facility in at least one additional language like Python or Rust
