About the role: 

Provide FP&A supports for Carrier annual and strategic long-range plan financial process and business analytics, especial P&L analysis such as profitability Roadmaps, productivity, etc. Operates as a trusted business partner to Senior Leadership, Corporate Finance, and Segments Finance.  

Responsibilities: 

• Lead preparation of senior executive presentations including communications to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, ELT 

• Lead P&L roadmaps process for Carrier, with focus on the “why” behind the company’s results and variances and with ability to tell the story. 

• Provide business insights and suggestions to VP FP&A and Sr FP&A Director through monthly flash reports and perform Risk & Opportunity roll up. 

• Lead Price-Cost analysis requirements for Carrier.  

• Support Coordination and Preparation of Earnings Release Materials. 

• Improve existing reporting processes and create new ones where required. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree 

• 8 years’ experience in finance with at least 5 years in FP&A or Operations Finance function 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Hands on, Exceptional computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills; computer skills, at a minimum, should include demonstrated proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint. HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and SAP preferred. 

• Ability to work cross-functionally and provide financial leadership across the organization. 

• Excellent communication skills: ability to report on analysis concisely and effectively both orally and in written format
