We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Mobile Engineering Manager to help create a state-of-the-art mobile platform for Ford Credit. We are looking to grow our Mobile capabilities within Ford Credit and are looking for an innovative and driven leader to help do so.

What you'll do….
- Create a cohesive strategy to align all existing Ford Credit applications into a common Mobile Platform being built for global use.
- Ability to develop and lead junior developers working on various technology and frameworks such as Swift UI, Android Jetpack Compose, and more.
- Adept at creating mobile frameworks and platforms to drive future uses cases.
- Measure and monitor application performance using existing toolsets (ContentSquare, Dynatrace, Splunk, Adobe, and more) and propose changes to effectively support our mobile platform.
- Evangelize Mobile Platform capabilities across Ford and work to incorporate future use cases into Mobile Platform. Help organization understand mobile capabilities and create a strategy for others to adopt.
- Ability to work in a cross functional team and autonomously to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong focus on innovation with a drive to be customer obsessed.
- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps.
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Advocate for engineering excellence, exceptional usability, and outstanding quality.
- Drive architectural decisions on our systems and the integration with the platform.
You'll have…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 12+ years of technical experience with minimum 3 years as Mobile Architect/Software Development Leader.
- 3+ years’ experience with architecting Native iOS and Android applications with a high customer satisfaction score.
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps tools and processes such as Agile/SAFe.
- Experience with system design, programming, and data structuring.
Even better, you may have….
- Strong experience of working with GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with OOP design, MVVM, VIPER, and SOLID principles.
- Dealing with ambiguity to develop solutions that work for partners from various subject areas to meet aggressive timelines.
- Experience in cloud application development solutions, such as GCP, Kubernetes is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience with Swift UI and Jetpack Compose.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, App distribution to beta and production.
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
- Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Innovating, anticipating the future, and working toward continuous improvement in mobile technologies.
