Quality Engineering Technician

I. PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Support manufacturing in meeting customer quality requirements.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Quality Inspection Standards and inspection instructions using control plans and drawings.
Supervise personnel in daily activities pertaining to product sorting or manufacturing defects
TS 16949 compliance
Part inspection.
Product and process auditing.
Product sampling, data recording & capability analysis.
Visit vendors and customers in support of quality issue resolution.
Assist with equipment run offs.
Assist Quality Engineers with PPAP documentation creation, revision and all other Quality Engineering activities as assigned.
Assist quality engineers in the implementation of engineering changes, process changes and new product launch.
Conduct or participate in stand down meetings with production and or quality personnel
Other duties may be assigned.

A. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma
Advanced education or A.S. Degree in a technical field (Preferred)
TS16949 Auditor training (Preferred)
5-7 years quality experience

Blue print reading
Basic GD & T comprehension
