OnsiteThe Senior Technician, Engineering Services will be responsible for performing manufacturing/engineering duties in the areas of Inspection, plating, wet etching, dicing, bonding, laminating, sputtering and general micro-fab processes.
This role will be performed onsite at our Collins location in Cedar Rapids, IA.
What You Will Do:
- Train other lab techs/engineering proficiently in respected areas according to training plan. Preform qualification checks on material being used.
- Have an organized and clean work area. Inventory new photo tools and update data base
- Understanding/Using of hazardous chemicals.
- Voluntary face respirator to preform duties.
- Proficiently run equipment and have knowledge of troubleshooting equipment for respected area. Also help maintain cleanliness and preform daily checklist while using equipment.
- Provide feedback to other lab techs/engineering on process parameters so area has successful processes.
- Work independently
- Take initiative in daily work.
- Must work in class 100/1000 clean room conditions.
- Good communication skills
- The patterning process is about 3 months of training and to be proficient would be 6-9 months.
- Applicant must be able to work well with a structured schedule and meeting time commitments.
- Successful applicant must be able to work effectively managing multiple tasks, process steps and understand the flow of work.
- Mechanical ability- use of manual hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of chemical processing, background in using chemical combinations and storage.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Associate degree or, in absence of a degree, three years of work experience required (required)
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of photolithography and electroplating.
- Efficient at Microsoft office- excel, power point, word.
