<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Engine Testing and Calibration Engineer</strong> to join a long-term project with a leading OEM. The role requires relocation to <strong>India (Pune or Delhi)</strong> for at least <strong>12 months on-site</strong>, working directly with the engineering team. After the initial on-site period, the position will transition to <strong>remote work from Europe</strong>. </p>
<p>This is a high-responsibility role suited for a senior professional with deep expertise in gasoline engine calibration, who is ready to take ownership of end-to-end calibration processes in a global development environment.</p>
<h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><p>You will lead the development, testing, and optimization of engine control strategies to ensure top-tier performance, fuel efficiency, emissions compliance, and drivability. </p>
</li>
<li><p>Your tasks will cover the full calibration lifecycle from prototype development and test bench calibration to in-vehicle testing and final validation for production release. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, resolve complex issues related to emissions or drivability, and support tool and methodology development. </p>
</li>
<li><p>A strong focus will be on ensuring compliance with international emissions and diagnostic standards (Euro 6, RDE, EPA, OBD-II). You will also be involved in customer meetings, technical reviews, and certification audits.</p>

<h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering</li>
<li>Minimum 12 years of experience in gasoline engine calibration and testing</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine thermodynamics and emissions control</li>
<li>Proficiency with calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, AVL CRETA, and ATI Vision</li>
<li>Experience with engine management systems (e.g. Bosch, Denso, Delphi, Continental)</li>
<li>Familiarity with HiL/SiL environments and validation processes</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams</li>
<li>Proven track record of leading calibration projects to series production</li>
</ul>
