Bring your talent to Raytheon, Circuit Card Manufacturing in Andover, Massachusetts. We have a high visibility opportunity for a Value Stream Lead. Take on full management accountability for the safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance of a multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Leader will drive operational excellence throughout the organization.
This key role requires daily interaction with other functions to maintain and meet organizational goals. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, and finance. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.
What You Will Do:
Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
Workforce planning and forecasting.
Employee hiring and training.
Area layout and flow management
Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically require a university degree with 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering or a similar environment or an Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience or an associate degree with 10 years of related experience or in the absence of the degree, 12 years of related experience is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a government US security clearance prior start date is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
Broad understanding of circuit card design, quality and production requirements and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve these processes.
Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry
Knowledge in the area of assembly, inspection, and test operations
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation and influencing skills.
Solve complex operational issues while maintaining open communications and a cooperative work environment.
High level of computer literacy / confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (CMES, SAP, PDM)
EVMS Level 2 Certified
Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
