We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LVT who is eager to advance their career and specialize further in Anesthesia and Surgical support.This role is perfect for a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Anesthesia or someone with significant experience in general anesthesia and emergency/specialty protocols. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our surgical team with advanced anesthesia techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Anesthesia Management: Administer and monitor anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including high-level soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, trauma, and specialty procedures. Ensure that each patient receives individualized care based on their health status and procedure type. Work with our on-staff Board Certified Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia.
- Surgical Assistance: Provide assistance during surgeries, including preparation, sterile technique, and monitoring of the patient throughout the entire surgical process. Be proficient in assisting with a variety of surgical specialties such as orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurological surgeries.
- Patient Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to ensure patients are stable throughout the perioperative period. Constantly assess heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vital signs. Make adjustments to anesthesia as needed based on patient status. We have ventilators, anesthetic gas analysis, invasive blood pressure monitoring and other monitoring and support modalities available for use.
