Job Title: Data Assistant (ENDO-SBIRT)

Reports To: Principal Investigator (ENDO-SBIRT)
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Principal Investigator of the ENDO-SBIRT Project (Endometriosis Education, Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment), the Data Assistant will collect, store and monitor project data in order to facilitate the study. The goal of the study is to identify women living with opiate use disorders and chronic pain who may have endometriosis and link them to screening and medical care. Job functions will include collecting data during study activities, entering data into project databases, ensuring completeness of project data, and following data security and storage procedures. This is a Grant Funded position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide participant follow-up and health outcomes tracking.
- Implement the data collection plan developed by the evaluation team.
- Participate in regular, continuous quality improvement meetings to improve project services and outcomes.
- Assist with performance monitoring and reporting.
- Exhibit knowledge of cultural differences, including socioeconomic factors, cultural traditions, and spiritual beliefs.
- Keep abreast of all federal, state, and Rowan-Virtua SOM regulations, laws, and policies relevant to data collection and security as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as appropriate and related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be willing/able to travel to community-based agencies around southern New Jersey as necessary to perform essential tasks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Background in healthcare, social work, human services, or related field preferred. Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail. Must be a team player with interest in implementing innovative, evidence-based practices that may have an impact on women’s recovery.
POSITION DURATION: This is a One-Year, Part-Time Temporary Grant Funded position, working 10 hours a week.
