Director of Hotel Operations
Hilton Hotel Southlake Town Square is seeking a Director of Hotel Operations to join our team. We hire passionate and professional leaders who consistently exceed guest expectations through curated and authentic experiences. The Director of Hotel Operations is responsible for overall day-to-day hotel operations, driving the Service Culture, training, audits, and implementation of all guest experience initiatives. The Director of Hotel Operations is the point person for the hotel and restaurants and will be actively involved in all Operational Departments, using a hands-on approach to ensure quality standards are achieved.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Recruit, select, train, mentor, and support team members, ensuring their performance aligns with Hilton's core values and remains consistent with Driftwood Hospitality's core principles.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality are provided to
hotel guests.
• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel and attends and participate in all strategic, senior level and operational meetings and events.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and brand standards, striving to enhance both departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Interact with the sales staff to discuss and implement sales strategies to continually improve
occupancy levels and maximize revenues.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Requires proven leadership skills as position involves frequent decisions, meeting of deadline,
negotiations of contracts of vendors, analytical ability and the planning, organization
development and coordination of large-scale work projects.
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint with an understanding of the hotel
systems preferred such as OnQ/PEP, Kipsu and ProfitSword.
• Must have financial management skills including the ability to understand P&L statements,
manage operating budgets, forecasting, and scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Commit to our principles of passion, striving for excellence, staying relevant, fostering collaboration, and acting with honor and integrity.
• Minimum 4 years previous experience as Director of Operations or similar position
• Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management or relevant field.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or similar preferre
