Position Summary:

Redaptive seeks a highly skilled Contracts Manager who has prior experience leading contracts administration for large-scale construction projects or similar programs. This role works closely with our operational, sourcing and legal colleagues to ensure all contractual obligations are met while protecting the company’s commercial and legal interests.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Responsible for reviewing, structuring, and administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with service providers, suppliers, vendors, and channel partners.  

• Performs as a backstop for Strategic Sourcing team and legal department to ensure contracts align to company policy, flow down customer requirements, government specifications, and other requirements. 

• Communicates with counter-parties to serve as single point of contact on negotiations 

• Works with category managers, technical buyers, engineers and management to minimize risk exposure.  

• Monitors contract expiration/renewal terms and provides guidance on exit, extension, and/or renewal including review of terms and conditions. 

• Maintains records, including correspondence and documentation, related to established contracts and those in progress 

• Supports project managers by interpreting critical, economic contract terms and conditions, and advising on related risk exposure and mitigation. 

• Works with the Legal department to optimize and streamline agreements. 

• Maintains standard contract templates and contract management processes.   

• Liaises with legal counsel when necessary on complex or high-risk contracts. 

• Supports project teams during the bidding, execution, and close-out phases of engineering projects. 

• Supports claims management and dispute resolution processes when necessary.
