About the role

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Medicaid Enrollment Coordinator for a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is responsible for coordinating the intake and Medicaid enrollment process for prospective participants. This includes answering initial inquiry calls, providing education about the LIFE program and its services, gathering intake information to analyze the qualifications of the referrals, scheduling home visits, and overseeing Medicaid application processing. The Medicaid Enrollment Coordinator acts as a liaison between participants, caregivers, enrollment coordinators, social workers, finance, and the Board of Social Services to ensure a seamless and timely enrollment experience. This Medicaid Enrollment Coordinator will function as the point person for communication and coordination with all financial institutions, insurance agencies, and government agencies. The role is critical in facilitating access to services and supporting compliance with New Jersey Medicaid and PACE program requirements. 

As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred 
  • At least one year’s experience working with the frail or elderly.
  • Prior experience in Medicaid eligibility, healthcare intake, case management, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with New Jersey Medicaid policies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with older adults and diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Medicaid application systems.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) preferred.

Certification/ Licensure:

  • Valid NJ Driver’s license and proof of insurance. Subject to annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
