Summary

Assists licensed personnel in the preparation of the environment and patient for treatment. Performs delegated duties as assigned by the clinical staff. Works as an effective Team member that contributes work efforts towards the improvement of quality patient care as well as Departmental and System mission and values.

Prior experience preferred. Must be able to effectively apply knowledge and skills learned. Must have effective problem-solving skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills which requires the ability to quickly assess situations and appropriately respond in a timely manner. Must have the ability to understand role as defined and work within a team-oriented environment. Must be able to communicate orally, read, write, hear, and visually assess patient status. Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics when examining or delivering care. Must be able to transfer and transport patients of various body weight and composition. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk frequently. Must be able to demonstrate proper use of equipment. Must be able to manipulate equipment.
