Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is part of a small, highly engaged quality team, which is a critical part of the company’s commitment to quality excellence. This role will work closely with cross functional teams within the organization to ensure product quality meets the specification identified by the organization by conducting routine inspections to ensure the material compliance of our products adhere to the organization’s standards.

$26/HR - $34/HR

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic math skills, shop math trigonometry.
- Experience as a machine job shop inspector.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and operator instructions.
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments, such as height gages, and calibrated hand tools.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, GD&T.
- Ability to operate and safely maintain the facilities cranes and forklifts.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Ability to communicate effectively between the different departments.
- Ability to stay on task and follow through.

- Adheres to all company Safety, Quality, and Business policies/procedures and maintain a clean work environment. All unsafe acts observed shall be discussed and elevated to a supervisor/manager if not addressed immediately. All near hits and injuries must be reported to your Supervisor/Manager immediately.
- Maintains inspection and measurement equipment in a clean manner and ensure that all equipment is stored properly such that it will be protected from damage when not in use.
- Works from verbal and/or written instructions, quality standards, and/or other quality documents.
- Inspects parts during various phases of receiving, in-production, and post-production.
- Completes, and documents inspections in accordance with the approved part specific Inspection & Test Plan as defined by the Quality Department.
- Assists production personnel to properly complete, and document, inspections in accordance with the approved Fastfield
reports as defined by the Quality Department. - Maintains inspection records and documents as necessary.
- Documents non-conformances and segregate material in approved areas.
- Inspects products and/or processes using a variety of inspection and measurement equipment.
- Performs First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections to ensure product quality.
- Initiates and maintains positive interaction between quality and production personnel.
- Maintains Inventory Integrity.
- Assists with Corrective Action Reports as requested.
- Assists Engineering with new product inspections as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management,

- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
