Maintenance Helper Job Overview:

Actively participate as part of the maintenance team in the efforts to increase runtime of the entire facility. 

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You can help support day to day production requirements to maintain machinery running and producing parts in constant supply
• You will work in a safe manner to keep you and your team incident free
• You can manage and organize inventories of oils, coolants and other MRO items to avoid shortages and excesses
• You can help clean machines, coolant tanks and other equipment
• You can perform filter changes on air filtration and HVAC units
• You can perform an/or assist with weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance tasks and routine inpsections of premises and equipment
• You can help with forklift, vehicle and floor scrubber maintenance including monthly PM's
• You can perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

 To be considered you’ll need: 

• Strong attention to detail
• To be organized and task oriented
• To be mechanically inclined and have experience using hand tools
• The ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts
• A valid drivers license with a clear record for 5 years
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in similar field
