Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is scaling its business strategy organization and looking for its next senior leader. Your work as a Strategy Lead will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success. You will work as part of a case team and work directly with the senior leaders in the organization to solve complex strategy problems that are on top-of-mind for our executives. 

Your Impact

• Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver recommendations
• Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and unlock value
• Synthesize, structure, and help drive stakeholder buy-in on critical workstreams to deliver high-impact, enterprise-wide projects - guide strategic execution
• Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables (PPT, Word, etc.) for executive level consumption 
• Support strategy / business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization
• Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to “move the needle”
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues on the team and take personal interest in their growth in the organization

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences
• Experience in building relationships and leading through influence
• Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
• Great teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision
• Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is a must, knowledge of cybersecurity industry is a plus but not required
• 8+ years relevant work experience post-MBA OR grad degree with at least few years in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.), private equity or top-tier tech strategy or “bizops” functions (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) or equivalent military experience required
• MBA graduate from a top-tier business school or similar academic credentials or “direct promote” in Consulting is a plus but not required
