Lincoln International follows a hybrid work structure with an emphasis on in office collaboration.

Our employees work in our Chicago office Monday through Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays. Our office is located at 110 N Wacker Drive, just blocks from Union Station & Ogilvie Transportation Center.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lincoln’s Senior Manager, U.S. Accounting Operations is responsible for overseeing the U.S. organization's accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and managing a team of accounting professionals. This role requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to support the company's financial and strategic goals while maintaining accurate financial reports.

This role is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with a strong background in financial management and leadership.  The Senior Manager, U.S. Accounting Operations plays a critical role in driving the organization’s financial success and operational efficiency.

We envision the Senior Manager, U.S. Accounting Operations will be initially tasked with the following:

• Accounting Operations Management
  • Manage daily accounting functions including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Monitor accounting activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation of accounting transactions and maintain organized financial records.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing processes.
• Financial Reporting
  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the consolidation of financials for US legal entities.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual FINRA statutory filings.
  • Actively monitor cash across the US legal entities to ensure FINRA compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and financial risks.
  • Monitor for changes in accounting standards and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
• Audit Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors
