About our group:

 

The Memory Appliance Group is navigating a new frontier for Seagate. Our initiative collaborates with a multitude of organizations (R&D to Procurement to Sales) and teams to bring emerging memory concepts to market. This team has an establish foundation and approach that Seagate is looking to expand.

About the role - you will:

 

Aid the advancement of new technology thru our R&D teams and into production. In addition, you will offer significant exposure and vision into Seagate’s high-speed memory ventures, fabric, and contribute to Seagate’s storage reach. Specific areas of focus include:

  • Work closely with engineers to develop project scope, technical specifications, and process enhancements.
  • Document and drive timelines that are related to a memory fabric project

About you:

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Program Management Processes
  • Demonstrated ability to succinctly summarize complex structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop resource needs and functions.
  • Working knowledge of product planning/development and budgeting process
  • Demonstrated experience in leading trade-off discussions for features and scope.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong sense of organizational processes and be well versed in program management
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to operate independently, while leveraging organizational matrix to achieve desired goals within budget.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field (i.,e Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 5+ years of experience or Master’s Degree in the same and 3+ years’ experience  or PhD and 0+ years’ experience or equivalent experience and education
  • Memory/semiconductor market with knowledge of storage infrastructures
  • Working corporate processes with knowledge of program management.

 

 

You might also have

 

  • Background in memories (DRAM or Emerging Memories)
