Software Engineer

This is a remote role to work at a Canada-based life insurance company.

Stack:

• React, Redux, Node, Webpack, Gatsby, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS

What you'll be doing:

• Build new and exciting product features in our React-based web application

• Contribute to our custom UI component library using shared npm packages

• Design and create new APIs in Python

• Integrating with various third-party systems (payments, id verification, contracting, etc..)

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience

• BS degree in Computer Science

• Experience with web development (HTML5/CSS3/ES8 or above/React/NodeJs/Python)

• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments

• Understanding of computer science fundamentals

• Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills

• Salary in USD: $48,000 - $60,000
