About this role 

Carrier has an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Engineering Intern in our Supply Chain Organization to work at our office in Fort Wayne, IN. At Carrier, we aggressively pursue cost savings and efficiencies through network optimization. We need an Intern who will work as a member of a global team of analysts, operation leads, and program managers executing key transfer of work projects. This role is for Summer 2024.

Key Responsibilities 

• Participate in transfers of work within the Carrier supply network, with a focus on data analytics, project execution, and operational optimization.

• Supervise and refine key aspects of the transfer, including the project plan.

• Learn how to create a project plan, monitor qualification builds, and project execution.

• Assist team members in various projects and tasks as needed throughout the internship. 

Required Qualifications 

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field   

• 3.0 or higher GPA  

• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
