Job Description:

This position, part of the Banking and Merchant Services department within the CFO Division, responsible for complex bank reconciliations, outgoing wires, transfers, and general ledger research. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel)

 A demonstrated ability to effectively maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders. Resolve problems and understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, policies, and procedures.

• Monitors system and manual reconciliations
• Research and resolve reconciling items
• Initiates outgoing manual wires and transfer requests
• Performs Book to Bank report
• Prepare journal entries

Other duties as assigned

Expected Salary:

$62,000 - $72,000

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience

Preferred:

Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, establish and maintain professional and effective working relations with others. Ability to articulate and interpret information, including university policies, procedures and regulations. Establish work priorities and coordinate timely completion of work assignments, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel)
