Production Supervisor
 

Orora Landsberg is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a focus on assembly in a warehouse environment to be responsible for the day-to-day operational and provide exceptional support to our customers/clients both internally and externally while maintain a high level of confidentiality and expediting requests.
 

Summary of Role and How You’ll Fit In
 

The Production Supervisor directs and coordinates activities concerned with all production and pick & pack operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The supervisor will coordinates activities of workers in assembling parts or assemblies into units by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

• Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.
• Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
• Ensure enforcement of company policies and safety regulations.
• Revises schedules and priorities as result of operating problems.
• Quotes all production jobs.
• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
• Has the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system; identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system; initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels; verify the implementation of solutions; and control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training co-workers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining co-workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

 

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of progressive experience in a fast paced production and warehouse environment
